Follow these important tips as you prepare for your new baby.
Text4baby is a free mobile information service designed to promote maternal and child health. An educational program of the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (HMHB), text4baby provides pregnant women and new moms with information to help them care for their health and give their babies the best possible start in life. Women who sign up for the service by texting BABY to 511411 (or BEBE in Spanish) will receive free SMS text messages each week, timed to their due date or baby’s date of birth.
Tips to Quit Tobacco Some individuals use medications to help them quit tobacco. Your prescriptions and certain over the counter items are provided by the State, not Physicians Plus.
You can fill your prescription at any pharmacy that is a provider for BadgerCare Plus. If you have questions on your pharmacy claims, please contact BadgerCare Plus member services at (800) 362-3002.
The Wisconsin Tobacco Quit Line (877) 270-STOP (7867) provides free phone counseling for all Wisconsin residents who want to quit using tobacco. There are expanded benefits for Physicians Plus members. Learn more about our Wisconsin Quit Line partnership.
Striving to Quit
Are you a BadgerCare member looking to quit tobacco for good? If so, Physicians Plus is promoting for our BadgerCare members, a program called Striving to Quit. It offers free help to individuals who smoke and want to quit. It may also pay for time spent in activities that are part of the program.
